Seachem pH Alert
pH Alert is an innovative color tester designed to be placed in the aquarium and to monitor the pH continuously. A sensor changes color to warn you of the correct pH value. A pH value between 5.4 and 8.0 is monitored by the pH Alert. No tests, no strips, only constant measurements. pH Alert is small, clear and unobtrusive, so it does not affect the visibility of your aquarium. Simply place the pH Alert somewhere in the aquarium. The response time for the first commissioning is approximately 30 minutes. Thereafter, pH shifts will be recorded within ten minutes. Only suitable for fresh water.
No maintenance is required except the removal of algae with a clean, soft cloth. Do not touch the sensor with your fingers, as skin oil can damage it. Do not use bleach, soap, cleaning agents or hard objects to clean the sensor. Some medications can discolor the sensor and therefore it is better to remove the pH Alert than temporarily. The pH Alert tester works for around 3-6 months.
