MatrixCarbon ™ is truly a unique activated carbon, Pearl-shaped for optimum hydrodynamics. This offers a maximum water flow and contact with a high density of absobbies without clumping what is normal for other granular activated carbon types. MatrixCarbon ™ has a very low ash content which leads to a minimal impact on the PH value. Even when it is added in distilled water, the PH value will not exceed 7.0. Because all activated carbon types contain phosphates, despite false claims that they are not, MatrixCarbon ™ has the lowest phosphate content of all major carbon brands.
