Renew ™ is an efficient and economical replacement for Activated carbon. Renew ™ is capable of removing organic matter and sub-micro filtration, it is less aggressive than coal. It does not change the pH value, does not remove trace elements, and does not release phosphates to the water. It is suitable for reef aquariums or planted aquariums where aggressive chemical action is a problem. 250 ML Renew ™ treats up to 160 liters of water for a number of months. Sea water and fresh water.
Application of Seachem Renew
Renew ™ must be used exactly as activated carbon. Use 250ml for every 120 - 160 liters of water. Use only in a filter bag. Although Renew ™ is clean, it is advisable to rinse it out before use. Renew ™ works as long as cabbage (4-6 weeks).
