It also provides essential ions and stimulates the natural mucous membrane. It also detoxifies heavy metals that may be present in tap water. Prime ™ Also promotes nitrate removal. This is the first choice conditioner for starting up an aquarium, adding, or refreshing. No other product is needed to make water safe, even at high chloramine concentrations. Not like competing products, Prime ™ does not cause a pH drop or an overactive skimmer. The 100 ML bottle handles more than 4,000 liters of water, much more than competitive products.
Suitable for both seawater and freshwater.
Can be used during the start-up of the aquarium to reduce the poisoning of ammonia / nitrite.
Dosage of Seachem Prime
Use 1 ml (top mark of the enclosed doser) for every 40 liters of new water. May be added directly to the aquarium water, but it is better if you add it to new water. When adding it directly to the aquarium water, base the dose on the aquarium volume. Sulfer odor is normal. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may then be done safely. To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, you may use up to 5 times the normal dose. When the temperature> 30 ° C and chloride or ammonia levels are low, dose half.
