The Leander plumosus, better known as the Donald Duck Shrimp, is a striking and unique addition to the aquarium. With its characteristic snout and graceful, translucent body, this shrimp is a real eye-catcher. This species is native to coastal waters and estuaries, where it hides among plants and rocks.
The Donald Duck Shrimp is relatively peaceful and thrives with other peaceful aquarium inhabitants. It thrives in an aquarium with ample hiding places and gently flowing water. With its tiny pincers, it constantly searches for food, such as algae, microorganisms, and leftover food.
A special addition for enthusiasts looking for something truly different in their tank!
