Reef Complete is a concentrated, optimized mix of ionic calcium, designed to restore natural seawater and maintain calcium levels without changing the pH. Calcium and carbonates are essential for all coral growth.

Use of Seachem Reef Complete

BEGINNER: Use 1 cap (5 ml) per 80 L (20 US gallons) twice a week. Check calcium every 2 weeks and adjust the amount or frequency accordingly.

ADVANCED: Check the calcium level and follow the dosing schedule above until calcium is set to 380-420 mg / l. Every 5 ml / 80 L (20 US gallons) increases the calcium by about 10 mg / L. Quantity or frequency can be adjusted, but do not exceed 12.5 ml / 80 L (20 US gallons) per day. Next, use as required to retain calcium.

EXPERT: Set a continuous drip system after determining the calcium consumption. Use the following formula to determine how much to add to your top water: m = vc / 160 (m = ml of product to add to top-off water, v = volume of the tank in liters, c = increase amount of calcium in mg / l). [For reference: 1 US gallon = 3.8 L].

NOTES: When used with Reef Calcium ™, it is not necessary to exceed 380 mg / l of total calcium. Use Reef Status ™: calcium to measure calcium.

DO NOT OVERDOSE: Excess calcium can increase the loss of carbonate alkalinity. Do not mix directly with a carbonate supplement. It is best to add calcium and carbonate additives on alternating days or with an interval of at least 30 minutes.
