PhosFate is a highly efficient liquid PO4 remover that works by binding to phosphate and allowing mechanical filtration such as skimmers and filter rolls to remove the phosphate from the aquarium.
For higher efficiency we recommend dosing PhosFate directly into the overflow, allowing it to remain in contact with PO4 for longer before being removed by mechanical filtration.
PhosFate can ideally be dosed with a dosing pump.
Do not overdose, because although dosing PhosFate is very safe, overdosing can cause white flocculent matter to deposit in the rock formation, corals, glass, etc. It can also cause respiratory problems in fish as the flocculent matter can spread and bind to their gills.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Not for human consumption.
