Iron is found in reefs all over the world and is one of the most important elements for all animals and plants in our aquariums. It plays an important role in the transport of oxygen in the blood of animals.

Iron is known to have a beneficial effect in aquariums where macroalgae are present, improving the green tones.
Iron is absorbed from the water very quickly in our aquariums. It is therefore important to check the iron content by means of an ICP analysis and to ensure sufficient content and stability by dosing iron as required.

A level of 0.4 µg/L is appropriate, especially if there is a reservoir that uses up iron very quickly.

Reef Zlement's Fe Iron combined with a regular testing regime allows any aquarist to correct iron levels to ensure the levels in their aquarium remain within the optimal range for their animals.

1 ml Reef Zlements Fe Iron increases the iron concentration of 100 liters by 2 µg/l.
