Chromium is a trace element found in small amounts in the seawater of reefs around the world.
Chromium can have a positive effect on coral skeleton calcification, health and coloration.
Chromium is rapidly removed from the water in our aquariums. It is therefore important to check the chromium content by means of an ICP analysis and, if necessary, to ensure an appropriate level and stability by adding a chromium supplement.
The chromium content in seawater naturally varies greatly and is normally between 0.2 and 0.6 µg/litre.
With Reef Zlements Cr Chromium, in combination with a regular testing procedure, any aquarist can correct the chromium level and ensure that the values in his aquarium remain within the optimal range for his animals.
1 ml Reef Zlements Cr Chromium increases the chromium concentration of 100 liters by 2 µg/l.
