KH Buffer Alkalinity is one of the most important parameters in a reef aquarium. It is crucial to keep it stable around 7-8 dKH.
In a reef aquarium, alkalinity is not only lowered by corals, but also by other processes. It is therefore important to ensure stable alkalinity using a 2-component system such as Complete or pHplus, or a simple buffer such as Reef Zlements KH Buffer.
10 ml Reef Zlements KH Buffer increases the alkalinity of 100 liters by 1 dKH.
