DD Reef Zlements V Vanadium
Vanadium is a metal found in various oxidized states in reefs around the world. It is an essential element for many marine animals, as it is an enzymatic cofactor that stimulates many processes, especially in cellular metabolism.
This transition metal is extremely important for the coloration and growth of coral tissue and other organisms in the aquarium.
Vanadium is rapidly depleted in the water of our aquariums. It is therefore important to check the vanadium content by means of an ICP analysis and to ensure a suitable content and stability by dosing vanadium as needed.
The vanadium concentration in seawater is about 1.8 μg/l.
Reef Zlements V Vanadium, in combination with a regular testing procedure, enables any aquarist to correct the vanadium level and ensure that the vanadium level in their aquarium remains within the optimum range for their animals.
1 ml Reef Zlements V Vanadium increases the vanadium concentration of 100 liters by 6 μg/l.
