DD Reef Zlements K Potassium
Reef Zlements K Potassium is a high purity potassium supplement formulated to help maintain optimal potassium levels in reef aquariums. Potassium (K) is an essential element in seawater chemistry and influences a wide range of biological and physiological processes in marine life.
Potassium plays a crucial role in supporting coral coloration, regulating nutrient transport, and maintaining proper osmotic balance in coral tissues. Consistent potassium levels contribute to coral health, resilience, and improved growth.
According to the Reef Zlements blend classification, potassium is classified as a type C element, meaning it contributes to the long-term stability and chemical balance of reef systems.
Recommended values: Maintain a target value of approximately 425 mg/l. The potassium concentration should not exceed 500 mg/l to prevent possible negative effects on the aquarium ecosystem.
Dosage:
Add 10 ml of Kalium Zlement per 100 litres of aquarium water to increase the potassium concentration by 10 mg/l. Test your water regularly and adjust the dosage if necessary.
