Sulfur (S) is an important element in ocean chemistry, influencing both biological and chemical processes.
Sulfur is involved in the photosynthesis process, essential for phytoplankton and corals. The availability of sulfur can influence the metabolic and catalytic activities of these organisms, which affects primary production and the overall health of marine ecosystems.
We recommend keeping sulphur concentrations around 900 mg/l. However, monitoring and adjusting sulphur levels should be part of a broader strategy to ensure a balanced and thriving ecosystem.
10 ml of sulfuric acid increases the sulfur concentration of 100 liters by ~3.5 mg/l.
