AmmoMix is a unique blend of ammonium chloride used to initiate the fishless cycle and biological filtration in new dry rock aquariums.
Instructions for use:
Add 1 drop per 1 liter and then add Modern Reef Nitri-Bac to add the nitrifying bacteria. Repeat this 3 times after 3 days or until you reach 2 ppm NH3 (ammonium). Do not exceed 2 ppm ammonium-NH3! You can continue adding Modern Reef Nitri-Bac until nitrite (NO2) begins to build. If the pH drops below 7 during the cycling process, perform a 25% water change by pulling the water from the top of the water column. This process can take 2-4 weeks. Once the ammonium (NH3) and nitrite (NO2) are no longer detectable, the cycling process is complete and you can add fish.
