ION-X A and B are high performance deionization mixed bed resins for reverse osmosis systems to remove unwanted ions of both negative and positive charges. This solves the build-up of unwanted anions and cations in the reef aquarium that can come with the osmosis water.
Instructions for use:
In some cases ION-X A alone can do the job, but in other cases you may need to use ION-X B as well, depending on the efficiency of your reverse osmosis filter and the quality of your tap water. You can use one or two stages of ION- Use X A after the last phase of your reverse osmosis system and one of ION-X B at the end. Close the bag tightly with a ziplock after opening to prevent it from drying out!
