Precision is a professional, highly accurate reference solution produced in Modern Reef laboratories for all automated testers and home test kits for reef aquariums. It can be used to check accuracy and calculate a correction factor or to calibrate for the parameters listed below. Enter a measurement according to the relevant test instructions using this reference solution. If necessary, use a clean syringe. Compare the measurement result (measured value) with the target value (target value) in the list for the relevant parameter indicated on the bottle. If the values match , the test is OK. If the values do not match, determine a correction factor for the test: Correction factor = target value / measured value. Future results of your aquarium sample measurements should be multiplied by this correction factor. Repeat the check regularly every 2-4 weeks and when the reagent batch is changed.
