Manganese is found in all reefs around the world and is an important element for animals and plants in our aquariums.
As a cofactor for many enzymes, it plays an important role in the metabolic processes of almost all organisms.
Manganese is known to have a positive effect on oxidative processes in organisms.
Manganese is used up very quickly from the water in our aquariums. It is therefore important to monitor manganese levels using ICP analyses and ensure appropriate levels and stability by dosing manganese as needed.
The manganese content in seawater is around 1-2 µg/l.
With Reef Zlements Mn Manganese, in combination with a regular testing procedure, every aquarist can correct the manganese level and ensure that the values in his aquarium remain within the optimal range for his animals.
Dosage
1 ml of Reef Zlements Mn Manganese increases the manganese concentration of 100 liters by 2 µg/l.
