Connect your Maxspect Gyre to your Apex using the 0-10v port.
The IceCap Gyre Interface Module is an after-market product that allows you to connect your Maxspect Gyre pump to a 0-10 volt port on your Apex.
Another cool feature is that you can put this module on a backup battery (UPS). The module automatically detects when there is a power failure and resets the flow pumps to 30% of speed in order to run longer on battery power.
With the optional 'Alternate Gyre' cable you can rotate your Gyre forwards and backwards. You can also connect this cable to a 0-10v port. If you want to use the full possibilities of your Maxspect Gyre, then you definitely need this cable. In total you need two 0-10v ports per pump.
If you want to use both directions, you can set two pumps with variable speed in your Apex. The first one is used to set the speed from 20% to 100% and the second one is used to determine the direction of your Gyre (set it to 0% to run the pump forward and set it to 100% to make it run backwards).
This module is compatible with all Maxspect Gyres available in the market.
Note: To run your Maxspect Gyre in both directions, you will need the optional cable.
