Neptune Systems GRO Macroalgae Light
A low nutrient content is the key to a healthy and algae-free saltwater aquarium. The most successful reef aquariums use a growth chamber filled with macroalgae for nutrient control purposes.
The GRO is a specialized, 20W LED lamp designed to grow many species of common macroalgae (including Chaetomorpha) using a specialized light spectrum that maximizes photosynthesis. The GRO uses all of its power to emit light in two specific wavelengths optimized for macroalgae growth - 455-460nm and 620-670nm. Combined with its rectangular shape, this means the right light goes where you need it and minimizes nuisance algae growth in other areas of your sump.
The lamp plugs directly into any available DC24 port in your Apex ecosystem, but can also be used completely on its own with a power adapter.

- Take the GRO out of the box
- Plug the GRO into any DC24 jacks of your Energy Bar 632 or,
- Connect it to a 1LINK module
- Select GRO from the task menu
