Component 1+2+3+: The key to the balanced dosage of macro and trace elements
The chemical composition of Component 1+2+3+ is based on the method developed by H. Balling. The formula has been refined in our lab and enriched with trace elements that are fundamental for keeping organisms in marine aquariums in good shape. As a result, we have composed 3 liquids that are intended for regular dosing in equal quantities. Component 1+2+3+ is designed to meet the needs of coral, not only in terms of magnesium and calcium, but also in terms of other elements that require careful and systematic dosing, but are notoriously difficult to assess.

Precise dosing made easy: Component 1+2+3+ for coral vitality
Dosage : Should be adjusted based on macronutrient consumption and critical water parameters such as calcium, magnesium and KH. If one or two parameters are still not balanced, we recommend continuing to provide equal doses of each component and using one of our additives (calcium, magnesium, KH buffer) to restore desired levels.
To maintain sufficient trace elements in the aquarium water, both magnesium and calcium levels should be within the recommended range (Ca 380-460 ppm, Mg 1180-1460 ppm).
A typical aquarium with an average number of hard corals requires approximately 25 ml of each component per 100 l (27 US gal) of water daily. To keep the parameters stable, we recommend to divide the daily dose into as many smaller doses as possible.
- Component 1+ contains: Ca, Sr, Ba, Co, Mn, Cu, Fe, Zn, Ni, Cr, Mo (25 ml dissolved in 100 l/27 US gal increases Ca by 4.5 ppm).
- Component 2+ contains: NaHCO3, F, I. (25 ml dissolved in 100 l/27 US gal increases KH by 0.65 dKH (Alk: 0.23 meq/l)).
- Component 3+ contains: Mg, Reef Mineral Salt, K, B, Li (25 ml dissolved in 100 l/27 US gal increases Mg by 0.38 ppm).
- Component 3 contains Reef Mineral Salt which is necessary for the stabilization of the aquarium parameters.

Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt
AF-30013 Fully synthetic sea salt made for the cultivation of corals. The salt is formulated in this way to create the best conditions for marine fauna. The addition of probiotic bacteria also has a positive effect on the reduction of nitrates and phosphates and inhibits the development of pathogenic microorganisms in a marine aquarium. After the salt has dissolved, the freshly prepared seawater can be used immediately for replacement. When setting up new aquariums, we recommend that you release the first animals no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the reservoir. The salt contains bromides, which are present in natural seawater and therefore it is not recommended for filtration systems with ozone. In the case of using an ozonator, we recommend the Salt Reef Salt Aquaforest. Due to the presence of probiotic bacteria, we recommend that the DKH level be kept within the range of 6.5-8.0, a higher level can negatively influence the condition of the SPS corals.
