The highly concentrated solution for increasing the carbonate hardness in marine aquariums. KH Plus is made to maintain sudden drops in carbonate hardness and restore the ionic balance in the aquarium. The correct value of carbonate ions is necessary for healthy coral growth and for building skeletons. The presence of carbonate ions makes it possible to maintain a stable pH level.
Dosage
- 10 ml of KH Plus solution increases the carbonate hardness by 0.5 dKH in 100 l (27 US gal) of water.
- The carbonate hardness in a reef aquarium should be about 6.5-8.5 dKH. Do not increase dKH by more than 0.5 dKH per 24 hours.
- Make sure your magnesium levels are within the recommended range before attempting to increase or adjust your calcium and alkalinity levels.
Due to the high product concentration, a white, gelatinous precipitate can form after KH Plus comes into contact with water. This is completely natural and safe for aquatic organisms. To facilitate dissolution, the KH Plus dosing pump outlet should be placed in a high water flow. Description of the product

Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt
AF-30013 Fully synthetic sea salt made for the cultivation of corals. The salt is formulated in this way to create the best conditions for marine fauna. The addition of probiotic bacteria also has a positive effect on the reduction of nitrates and phosphates and inhibits the development of pathogenic microorganisms in a marine aquarium. After the salt has dissolved, the freshly prepared seawater can be used immediately for replacement. When setting up new aquariums, we recommend that you release the first animals no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the reservoir. The salt contains bromides, which are present in natural seawater and therefore it is not recommended for filtration systems with ozone. In the case of using an ozonator, we recommend the Salt Reef Salt Aquaforest. Due to the presence of probiotic bacteria, we recommend that the DKH level be kept within the range of 6.5-8.0, a higher level can negatively influence the condition of the SPS corals.
