After years of research and testing, AF came up with the most efficient product formulas and we developed a unique Aquaforest Probiotic Method. As a result, we are one of the few that can offer products that can harvest even the most demanding coral species. In addition, all our products are manufactured in the EU from carefully selected components and under strict laboratory supervision to ensure that we meet the highest possible standards.
The chemical composition of Component Pro is based on the method developed by HW Balling, but has been modified and enriched with microelements necessary for the normal functioning of a marine aquarium.
In this way we have obtained 3 liquids intended to be regularly dosed in equal amounts to meet the demand for coral not only in terms of magnesium and calcium, but also in terms of all other elements, where it can be difficult to determine doses under home conditions, and which require careful and systematic dosing. Maintaining adequate magnesium and calcium also maintains appropriate amounts of microelements in a reef aquarium (Ca 380-460 ppm, Mg 1180-1460 ppm).
In tanks with an average number of hard corals, the dose is about 12 ml per day per 100 liters of water.
- Component 1 Pro contains : Ca, Sr, Ba, Co, Mn, Cu, Fe, Zn, Ni, Cr, Mo (25 ml / 100 l [27 US gal] increases the Ca level by 9 ppm).
- Component 2 Pro contains : HCO3, F, I (25 ml / 100 l [27 US gal] increases the KH by 1.3 dKH, Alk 0.46 meq / l).
- Component 3 Pro contains : Mg, mineral salts and S, K, B, Sr, Li. (25 ml / 100 l [27 US gal] increases the Mg content by 0.76 ppm).

Aquaforest Sea Salt

Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt
AF-30013 Fully synthetic sea salt made for the cultivation of corals. The salt is formulated in this way to create the best conditions for marine fauna. It contains micro and macro elements that fully meet the needs of corals for good growth and color. The addition of probiotic bacteria also has a positive effect on the reduction of nitrates and phosphates and inhibits the development of pathogenic microorganisms in a marine aquarium. After the salt has dissolved, the freshly prepared seawater can be used immediately for replacement. When setting up new aquariums, we recommend that you release the first animals no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the reservoir. The salt contains bromides, which are present in natural seawater and therefore it is not recommended for filtration systems with ozone. In the case of using an ozonator, we recommend the Salt Reef Salt Aquaforest. Due to the presence of probiotic bacteria, we recommend that the DKH level be kept within the range of 6.5-8.0, a higher level can negatively influence the condition of the SPS corals.
