Aquaforest AF Zoa Food powder, mainly intended for Zoanthus, Ricordea, Rhodactis and other 'ear' corals

Carefully selected plant mixture developed to meet all Zoanthus and mushroom coral needs. AF Zoa Food is enriched with a special set of vitamins that are perfectly tailored to the needs of these corals. By supplementing the composition with a vitamin mix, AF Zoa Food supports healthy and intense growth. AF Zoa Food provides key nutrients, improving their coloring and accelerating their development.

Dosage

1 scoop per 100 L (27 US gal) of water. We recommend switching off the protein skimmer for about an hour while feeding.

Fill a small container with approx. 20 ml of aquarium water, add a spoonful of AF Zoa Food and mix for 1 minute. Pour the suspension directly into the tank or use the pipette to feed selected corals. Use at least once a week. In well-planted, adult aquariums, the product can be used more often, even daily.

All powdered foods have a recommended dosage of 1 scoop per 100 l of water, however it is important that every aquarium is different and the dosage may vary depending on the coral secretion.

We recommend dosing foods and supplements from half the dose (even ¼) and observe the corals and their reactions to the administered food. Once the aquarium shows no signs of overdosing, we recommend increasing the dose to the target dose. Corals such as Zoanthus, Ricordea and other mushroom corals should be fed during the day. To facilitate food intake, SPS and LPS corals should be fed after the lights are turned off. To ensure the best absorption of nutrients, all supplements and foods for corals should be dosed directly into the aquarium.
