Supplement with highly concentrated fluoride. Fluorine is one of the most important micronutrients in seawater. In a closed aquarium system, skimmer and filter media remove fluorine deposits from the water, therefore supplementation is necessary.
Fluor participates in the calcification process and supports skeletal tissue. Sodium fluoride and calcium fluoride are the building material of coral skeletons, therefore fluoride supplementation is necessary in a reef aquarium. Balanced fluoride supplementation, effectively enhances the blue and white coloration of SPS corals and emphasizes the fluorescence of most corals. Contains traces of potassium and iodine.
Dosage
- 10 ml of Fluorum in 100 l (27 US gal) of water increases the fluorine content by 0.1 mg / l (ppm).
- It is important that each aquarium is different and the dosage depends on the coral occupancy and individual needs.
- The recommended fluorine content in the marine aquarium is 1.0 - 1.5 mg / l (ppm).
- Recommended dosage: 0.3 ml / 100 l (27 US gal) of water per day
The dosage should be based on the consumption of microelements. Note that each aquarium is different and the final dosage will depend on the coral sand and individual aquarium needs. Both a deficiency and an excess of micronutrients will affect the aquarium inhabitants, therefore the dosage should be selected and adjusted based on regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.

Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt
AF-30013 Fully synthetic sea salt made for the cultivation of corals. The salt is formulated in this way to create the best conditions for marine fauna. The addition of probiotic bacteria also has a positive effect on the reduction of nitrates and phosphates and inhibits the development of pathogenic microorganisms in a marine aquarium. After the salt has dissolved, the freshly prepared seawater can be used immediately for replacement. When setting up new aquariums, we recommend that you release the first animals no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the reservoir. The salt contains bromides, which are present in natural seawater and therefore it is not recommended for filtration systems with ozone. In the case of using an ozonator, we recommend the Salt Reef Salt Aquaforest. Due to the presence of probiotic bacteria, we recommend that the DKH level be kept within the range of 6.5-8.0, a higher level can negatively influence the condition of the SPS corals.
