AquaForest AF PO4+
The use of strong filter media, nutrient suppressors and skimmers can cause a sudden drop in phosphate levels in the aquarium. Phosphorus is an important element for zooxanthellae - photosynthetic algae that live in symbiosis with corals. With zero levels of phosphorus in the aquarium, the zooxanthellae simply "starve". Zero PO4 in a saltwater aquarium makes it much more difficult to reduce NO3, so accurate phosphate correction is necessary.
AF PO4+ is a product mainly intended for aquarium owners with a small number of fish or very intensive filtration. Heavily sterilized water, devoid of nutrients, causes coral dye problems, bleaching and significantly stunted growth. LPS corals are particularly sensitive to low nutrients. With AF PO4+ you can accurately correct the phosphate level and quickly restore the desired values.
AF PO4+ is a product of the Aquaforest Lab line, made for aquarists who want full control over the parameters in their aquarium. Before use, we recommend testing both the NO3 and PO4 levels and dosing them gradually until the desired phosphate level is reached.

Usage
- 1 ml AF PO4 + added to 100 l aquarium water increases the phosphate level by 0.01 mg/l (ppm)
- The maximum recommended daily dose is: 1 ml/100 l
- The optimal phosphate (PO4) value for a reef aquarium is 0.03-0.05 mg/l (ppm)
- Only use when the PO4 level is very low

When setting up new aquariums, we recommend that you release the first animals no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the reservoir. The salt contains bromides, which are present in natural seawater and therefore it is not recommended for filtration systems with ozone. In the case of using an ozonator, we recommend the Salt Reef Salt Aquaforest. Due to the presence of probiotic bacteria, we recommend that the DKH level be kept within the range of 6.5-8.0, a higher level can negatively influence the condition of the SPS corals.
