Seawater aquariums produce waste, the amount of which depends on the number of living organisms, fish population and feeding. Through an effective skimming system, organic waste material, the so-called DOCs (Dissolved organic Carbons), can be removed. In high concentration they are harmful to any aquarium biotope. the DOC skimmer effectively removes these compounds from the water circuit, better than a bio-mechanical filter, which means that by removing proteins for bacterial degradation, crystal clear water is retained and an increase in nitrate and phosphate is reduced.

• The Comline DOC Skimmer 9004 is designed for use in seawater and mixed and soft coral aquariums up to 250 liters (65 USgal.), Or for sensitive reef biotopes with hard corals up to 150 liters (40 USgal.).
• The skimmer cup also contains the foam reactor and can be easily removed.
