Tunze Comline Doc Skimmers are compact protein skimmers for use in the marine aquarium or in the sump. The system is very effective; all organic pollutants are immediately removed from the aquarium, while the path the water has to travel is short and direct. The risk of leakage is almost zero. The highly efficient technology makes it possible to reduce the volume of the internal equipment and significantly reduce energy consumption.
The particularly high efficiency is achieved because waste products that are adsorbed by air bubbles are not released again, so they do not return to the aquarium water.
Water is sucked in via an efficient surface suction. This will remove any surface film. This protein skimmer can also be used as a stand-alone solution in the aquarium. They are very quiet in use. The Comline® DOC skimmer is adjustable and comes with a magnet. This allows it to be attached to the glass.
