The Priolepis nocturna, also known as the Nocturnal Goby, is a small, rarely found bottom-dwelling goby with a fascinating pattern and a peaceful nature. This goby thrives in a well-equipped reef aquarium with plenty of hiding places among live rock.

- Origin : Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean
- Maximum length: approx. 4 cm
- Behavior : Peaceful, territorial towards conspecifics
- Diet : Small live or frozen foods such as artemia, mysis and copepods
- Habitat : Ideal for nano and reef aquariums with lots of rock structure and sandy bottom
- Active : Mainly at night, but can also be seen during the day
