Amblygobius buanensis - Tank Bred

A fun and useful fish is the Bynoe Goby. They are relatively peaceful animals that are constantly busy cleaning the sand through their mouths and gills. A Bynoe Goby grows to 18 cm and can be kept as a pair.

For sand eater fish, always ensure there's a thick layer of sand in the aquarium and that the grains aren't too large. They also need plenty of hiding places among the rocks. These fish aren't aggressive, but males of the same species will fight. They're known to be good jumpers, so provide a net or keep them in a closed tank.

Sand eater eats the debris that is stuck in the coral sand, but of course they need to be fed. This can be done with pellets, flakes and frozen food.

Tank Bred, what does that mean?

This fish is aquarium bred and will adapt to your aquarium more easily than a wild caught specimen!
