Red Sea Reef Base is a new young ecologically extracted coral bottom. Red Sea 's Reef Base and Base live is collected in the Bahamas and undergoes a thorough washing and screening process to create an exceptionally clean marine aquarium substrate that, among other things, ensures a stable pH value in your aquarium and accelerates the maturing process of your corals.

The gravel is then inoculated with bacteria before it is packaged. Reef Base live is made from seawater buffering calcium carbonate and is ready to use for shortening the start-up phase at aquariums.
