Plankton Depot Nannochloropsis Salina (Dutch breeder)
Nannochloropsis Salina is used to reduce elevated nitrate and phosphate levels, but also to feed corals (Coral food, trace elements, vitamins).
This Nannochloropsis Salina has a beautiful dark color and is of top quality!
Dosing in the morning hours allows further photosynthesis of the Salina culture during the photoperiod. Nitrate and phosphate dissolved in the water are thus absorbed and utilized.
What can Nannochlorose be used for?
- 1) Lowers nitrate levels
- 2) Lowers phosphate levels
- 3) Turns the nitrate and phosphate into feed for lower animals
- 4) Trace elements are replenished
Dosage coral care & nutrition
- Add 50 ml to 100 liters per day.
- Preferably turn off UVC/ozone systems & skimmers for about 1 hour
- There are no negative side effects to worry about and an overdose is also excluded
- Phytoplankton absorb nutrients from the water, resulting in better water quality
- By adding it to the aquarium, the corals will thrive much better
- This plankton can also be used to raise very small larvae.
