The size of Tropical Marine Power Coral Food LPS Granules (1.2-1.4mm) allows feeding soft corals such as Ricordea, Rhodactis, Discosoma, Zoanthus, LPS corals and small marine fish species. The food is eagerly accepted by the coral thanks to the almost round shape and smooth surface of the grains. The advanced technology behind the granulate production, including the maximum grinding of the raw materials, ensures a uniform structure of the granulates and a lack of dust. Most of the corals found in aquariums have a symbiotic relationship with algae (zooxanthellae). Photosynthesis performed by zooxanthellae requires access to light. The sugars produced by this are a perfect energy source for the corals. However, in order to grow, corals need other nutrients, which they derive heterotrophically by sifting out phyto- and zooplankton and organic matter dissolved in the seawater.
