Tropic Marin® ZOOTONIC is a high-quality, concentrated liquid zooplankton substitute for corals and other plankton-feeding filter feeders in marine aquariums. It provides essential nutrients such as amino acids, highly unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins.

During production, the nutrients are processed without heating. This gentle process helps preserve valuable vitamins and nutrients. ZOOTONIC is suitable as a complete food for plankton-feeding filter feeders.

ZOOTONIC can be used to feed a wide variety of plankton-feeding animals in reef aquariums. The fine food particles can be readily taken up by corals and other filter feeders.

Ingredients

Tropic Marin® ZOOTONIC contains crustaceans and glycerol.

Directions for use

Shake the container thoroughly before each use. Accurately dose the required amount of ZOOTONIC into the aquarium. For optimum distribution, add the product to an area with sufficient water flow.

The daily amount can preferably be divided into several smaller doses throughout the day. This provides filter feeders with multiple opportunities to capture and consume the suspended food particles.

Dosage

Start with a daily dosage of 0.1 ml per 100 litres of total aquarium system volume. The dosage can then be gradually adjusted according to the livestock and nutritional requirements of the aquarium.

For optimum distribution, Tropic Marin® ZOOTONIC can be dosed several times per day into the aquarium's water flow.

Maximum dosage

Do not exceed a daily dosage of 0.5 ml per 100 litres of total aquarium system volume.

ZOOTONIC contains organic carbon. When using other products that also contain organic carbon, their dosage should be taken into account and reduced accordingly if necessary. Increased organic carbon dosing can result in higher oxygen consumption in the aquarium.

Storage

Keep the container tightly closed and store in a cool, dark place. After opening, refrigeration is recommended to extend shelf life.
