D&D Polyplab Reef-Roids

Although originally designed for feeding the Goniopora spp, this product has been very well received in the hobby as an excellent food source for all filter nourishing corals.

The particle size of Reef-Roids is approximately 150-200 microns. This is an ideal size for Goniopora and other filter-feeding corals. When using Reefroids, you will notice an excellent polyp expansion on all filter-feeding corals. Zoanthids, mushroom leathers and ricordia will show a separate nutrition response. And with continued use, your filter will feed corals to experience faster growth and better colors.

Reef-roids mixes remarkably well in water and does not float on the surface like most dry coral foods. This ensures a long duration in the water column to minimize food waste.

Unlike many other "coral foods" on the market, Rif-roids are not made with processed fish meals or other ingredients that can degrade water quality quickly. Rif Roids is a mixture of naturally occurring marine planktons including a special kind of zooplankton that is unique to our product.

Use D&D Polyplab Reef-Roids

For every 380 liters of your system volume, mix a teaspoon of Reef-roids with some water from your tank. Stir this mixture briefly to create an even paste. We recommend goal feeding the paste to your corals using a syringe or pipette while circulators are turned off. Otherwise, pour the dough into a high-flow area to turn off the in-tank circulation pumps.
