A breeding unit for hatching larger amounts of Artemia cysts. The device can be placed inside or outside the aquarium, if it is placed in a warm environment. The breeding time depends on the ambient temperature.
Capacity approx. 2,000,000 cysts per brood. After approximately 2 weeks the animals are fully grown and can be used as animal feed. The device can also be used to cultivate artemia.
A stable wall holder and a pump for ventilation are included. A large-diameter drain valve prevents blockage during emptying. The optimally installed outlet valve allows a precise amount of discharge of hatched artemia, while the trays remain in the culture unit. A push to open lid makes filling the grow unit easy. It has a capacity of approx. 1 liter.
