Coral Food releases (directly or indirectly) high nutritional value particles, varying in size from 5 - 150 microns. Also dissolved natural polymer and monomer nutrients. When dosed according to the instructions, corals have enough food to thrive without contaminating the water. The organic load is comparable to what is found in pristine seawater. This food is also ideal for sponges, tunicates, feathered worms and many other organisms. Coral Food tries to mimic most of the food in nature, where the corals thrive and pre-plant. All soft corals, leather and hard corals and many other organisms are perfectly capable of catching the food particles.

Another way in which corals obtain nutrients is through their tissue. Such nutrients must meet different criteria, otherwise they will not be transported through the tissue and the water will be highly contaminated. All nutrients obtained by the method described above are used for growth and energy. This energy is used to carry out important biological processes that ensure the well-being of corals and other organisms. Some corals get some of the food from the symbiotic algae, but feeding on a regular basis with food described above shows significant improvements over time.
