Salifert Coral Grower contains calcium, strontium and trace elements (with the exception of iodine) that are necessary for the growth and multiplication of corals and the beautiful encrusting pink and red lime algae.

Calcium and strontium are the main cationic constituents of lime algae, skeletal material of hard corals and the skeleton and needles of soft / leather corals.
The depletion of these substances results from the growth and multiplication of these organisms.

The trace elements contained in Coral Grower allow organisms to perform many biological processes. Manganese, for example, is essential for the many biochemical reactions, including making photosynthesis possible. Iron can absorb various organisms in nutrients. Cobalt is essential for the formation of various coral pigments. Like manganese, zinc is essential for photosynthesis and is also used in the formation of calcium carbonate by corals. These are just a few of the trace elements present in Coral Grower.

This supplement is very concentrated and contains approximately. 80,000 ppm calcium and 1,600 ppm strontium. To prevent an ionic imbalance, the calcium and strontium balance with ions such as sulfate, chloride, bromide, sodium and magnesium should remain in balance.
All ingredients are of pharmaceutical quality or better. This ensures that no unwanted elements are added to your valuable aquarium.

Some other requirements

If calcium is depleted due to the growth of corals and calcified algae, we also recommend using Salifert KH + pH buffer for the formation of calcium and strontium carbonates.
Salifert Iodine is strongly recommended to complete the range of trace elements.

Regular maintenance: Dosage 5 ml per 100 liters (25 gallons) once a week.
