The proprietary blend combines a super carbon, hybrid phosphate resin and organic scavenger resin.

To use the product, simply place the mesh filter bag in a high flow area of your filter system.

The medium is compatible with both canister filters and standard sumps/biologists.
Granular Activated Carbon (GAC): CLEAR FX contains a coal-based granular activated carbon (GAC).

The product provides the hardest carbon available that still works when used in water.

The resin's spherical bead structure will not clump or clog.

The durable, high capacity resin absorbs phosphates in half the time as a standard GFO and will not release phosphates back into the water after reaching maximum capacity. Organic Scavenger Resin, the scavenger resin in CLEAR FX attracts organic matter in your aquarium, effectively controlling ammonia, nitrate and nitrite levels. The organic scavenger resin has a macroporous design that does not clog easily. The resin works hand in hand with the GAC to give your aquarium water clarity, stability and health.
