Blue Life Nitrate FX is a safe and effective way to lower nitrates

Instructions and guidelines

• Before first use, rinse each bag of resin by running a steady stream of fresh water (preferably RO) through approximately 4 to 5 cups; discard the water once it is ready.
• Every 250 ml Nitrate Fx removes 10 ppm nitrate in 475 liters of water (or 5 ppm per 945 liters) and 500 ml removes 10 ppm nitrate in 945 liters
  water (or 5ppm per 945 liters).
• Removal is directly related to the contact time of the resin with water; maximizing contact time with water will remove more nitrates and contribute to the overall quality of the aquarium water. For best results, resins should be used in a pressurized reactor or canister.
• Nitrate Fx is regenerable several times, making it a cost effective means of reducing nitrates in freshwater aquariums.
  
  

Regeneration Instructions

• Dissolve 1 Blue Life USA Regeneration Kit in 2 liters of room temperature water per 250 ml of resin to be regenerated in a clean bucket; put resin in the bucket and stir
• Let Nitrate Fx soak for at least 1 hour (for best results soak overnight), stirring the bags regularly; then remove from regenerating solution and rinse thoroughly with fresh water before using again.
• Do not regenerate with bleach, this will permanently damage the adsorption resin and kill aquarium inhabitants.
  
  

Caution

Resin is sold wet. Close packaging immediately to prevent drying out. Weight varies due to moisture content, product is sold by volume rather than weight. Do not let the resin dry out!

Any of our Blue Life USA resins can be regenerated with the use of Regen Fx for reuse 6 or more times.

One 250ml regeneration kit can regenerate up to 4 x 250ml bags of any Blue Life FX resin.
