Is a high purity stabilized rubidium solution used to compensate for rubidium deficiencies in reef aquariums.

The Elementals series is designed for use with regular ICP analyses. The Fauna Marin ICP analyzes help you stock your aquarium perfectly.

Fauna Marin ICP analyzes provide you with all necessary dosage recommendations in addition to the measured values. In addition to the salts of the bulk elements calcium, magnesium and carbonate hardness, we also offer a series of special trace elements whose function is essential in the marine aquarium. Trace elements are - in contrast to bulk elements such as calcium, magnesium or potassium - elements that occur in seawater in concentrations lower than 1 mg/l. These include, for example, the hardness of copper, magnesium and carbonate. These include copper, chromium, manganese or selenium, but also iron, iodine or zinc.

The function of trace elements can be very different. In the knowledge base on the Fauna Marin website you will find an overview of the respective function of each element. Trace elements can be present in many different substances and thus end up in the aquarium water; however, their deficiency can cause significant problems despite their low necessary concentration in the water. An adequate supply of all important trace elements is therefore essential for a healthy reef aquarium.

Our single element solutions consist of the purest raw materials, which are produced with the associated organic or inorganic compounds depending on the function of the elements. Here we use our coral nursery and of course our own ICP laboratory for production and quality control.

DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION

• 1 ml Elementals Trace Rb per 100 l (26 US gal) aquarium water increases the rubidium content by approx. 5 µg/l (0.26 US gal).
• The dosage is demand-driven.
• We recommend a maximum daily increase of 25 µg/l (0.26 US gal) rubidium (5 ml Elementals Trace Rb/100 l (26 US gal) daily).
