Fauna Marin Limewash

Lime water / calcium hydroxide for the production of lime water

The limewater method is often used in marine aquariums to increase the calcium and carbonate hardness of the water. This helps stabilize the pH and promotes the growth of corals and other calcifying organisms.

Usage:

Add 1 tablespoon (7-10 g) of calcium hydroxide to 10 liters of osmosis water, stir and let it stand for several hours in a closed container. The resulting clear liquid is the lime water, which can be added drop by drop to the aquarium.

Dosage tip:

Use a limewater reactor or a dosing pump to add the limewater solution to the aquarium.
