Red Sea Coral Colors A, B, C, D 100ml 4-Pack

The research carried out by Red Sea has shown 31 secondary and sports elements, which are available in addition to the general building materials in the skeleton and soft tissue. In the product family of Coral Color additives, these elements are divided into four groups (Coral Colors A, B, C and D), which are linked by the biological functions they perform, and are also related to the production of special color pigments in soft tissue. of stony corals. These pigments can only be produced if the special elements required for the biochemical process are available in the correct concentration. All 31 elements are required by all stony corals, regardless of the color of the coral.

Red Sea Coral Colors Starter Kit consists of preparations A, B, C and D, which all contain 31 secondary and trace elements. The Coral Colors additives are composed in such a way that the ratio of the elements is the same as in the skeleton and soft tissue of the corals.

Coral Colors A (100ml) - is a halogen complex (Iodine, bromine and fluorine). The halogens act as both antioxidants and oxidative agents within the soft tissue of the coral's mucus layer and reduce the chance of the coral fading. In an active reef system, these elements are exhausted very quickly because of their high oxidative capacity and their reaction to organic matter. Iodine and bromine are associated with the pink chromoprotein pocciloporin.

Coral Colors B (100ml) - is a complex of potassium and boron. Potassium plays a decisive role in the transport of coral nutrients in soft tissue, including the nutrients supplied by zooxanthellae. Potassium and boron have a meaningful influence on the carbonate hardness in soft tissue of corals and play a role in the build-up of aragonite in the coral skeleton. Potassium is associated with the red chromoprotein.

Coral Colors C (100ml) - is a complex of eight light ”metals, including iron, manganese, cobalt, copper, aluminum, zinc, chromium and nickel. These are essential microelements with elemental roles in many biochemical metabolic processes, including respiration and the production of energy, chlorophyll and photosynthetic catalysts. C elements are connected to the green and yellow chromoprotein.

Coral Colors D (100ml) - is a complex of 18 trace elements. These 18 elements (of all trace elements in natural seawater) participate in different metabolic processes in the skeleton of the corals and their soft tissue. D elements are associated with blue / purple chromoprotein.
