The female Mirolabrichthys tuka is a colorful, graceful reef fish native to the Indo-Pacific region. She stands out with her vibrant purple-pink body, a yellow snout, and fin accents. Unlike males, which often have extra fin extensions and slightly more intense colors, females are more modestly marked but no less stunning.

Features:

• Length : Up to approx. 9 cm
• Color : Deep purple to pink with a yellow snout and subtle blue fin edges
• Behavior : Schooling fish; peaceful, but shy
• Habitat : Reefs up to 35 meters deep; lives in groups in current-rich zones
• Diet : Plankton eater – needs a varied, small live or frozen food in the aquarium
• Aquarium : Minimum 300 liters, preferably in a group with several females and one male
