The Pseudanthias pleurotaenia (female), also known as the Squareback Anthias, is a strikingly colored reef fish that fits perfectly into the marine aquarium of the experienced aquarist. This species is known for its social nature, vibrant colors, and active swimming behavior. Female Pseudanthias pleurotaenia are typically orange to reddish-pink with a subtle square spot on the flank, giving them a unique appearance. They feel most at home in groups and bring life and color to the aquarium. With their relatively easy care and peaceful nature, they are suitable for both mixed tanks and reef aquariums. Care

• Water parameters: temperature 24-26°C, salinity 1.023-1.025, pH 8.1-8.4
• Ensure there are sufficient hiding places among the live rock.
• Do not combine with aggressive or much larger fish
• Regular water changes and stable water quality are essential.
