Very professional and accurate refractometer, specially developed for measuring seawater with the corresponding scale in both SG and PPT.
Almost all refractometers currently available for the aquarium hobby are designed for measuring saltwater (sodium chloride or brine solution) and not 'seawater'.
This refractometer is specially made for measuring seawater. The scale visible through the lens (see also the image) is tailored to seawater, which makes reading much clearer and more accurate.
Characteristics
- True calibration for Seawater measurement.
- A new finer scale ranging from 0-40ppt salinity (SG 1.015 to 1.030) 20/20
- Calibration at room temperature for greater consistency and accuracy in everyday use.
- Full ATC (automatic temperature compensation) ranging from 5 to 30 °C
Note: Calibration with osmosis water, Salifert refractocheck or nightsun refractocheck manual is under foam rubber in the lid
