Tips for water quality
With every water change also useful bacteria are removed from the aquarium. These are important for breaking down harmful substances. With the HOBBY Bacteria Fit you can maintain the balance of beneficial bacteria after every water change. If you have persistent problems with algae growth despite regular water changes, this could be due to excessive nitrate levels in your aquarium. Apart from a biological imbalance due to too much feed, too many fish or too few plants, the cause can also be the tap water due to an excessive nitrate load. In such cases, we recommend HOBBY Nitrat-Killer. This product extracts nitrate from the water in a short time due to ion exchange and no longer releases it from the aquarium water. You can regenerate HOBBY Nitrat-Killer and use it several times.
