The variable suction bell with suction depth control and separation chamber for sludge and substrate enables perfect floor maintenance. The gravel is separated from the sludge in the upper separation chamber. The gravel falls back to the ground and the sludge is extracted with the water. The substrate is only cleaned and ventilated as deeply as the lateral supply slots remain visible. Bacterial cultures, mineral and organic components, which are so important for plant growth, are not extracted.

Partly due to the side slits in the siphon, it is no longer possible to suck in the aquarium bottom. The perfect soil maintenance with simultaneous water change.

Optionally, the Mulm X can also be used alone for a water change without cleaning the substrate. Thanks to the variable hose holder, you can optionally work with the supplied 9/12 mm hose or alternatively with a 12/16 mm hose.

The Mulm X suction bell is universally applicable in any aquarium and has a total of 10 different application levels and is completely disassembled and easy to clean. Thanks to the water-neutral plastic, it can be used in seawater aquariums without any problems.
