This extract is made according to the original Hans Stein recipe
Oak extract is a natural preparation to lower the pH value and the KH value of aquarium water. In addition to the pH and KH lowering property, Oak extract also has a disinfecting effect thanks to the protective humic acids and protects the sensitive mucous layer of the fish against bacteria and viruses.
Oak extract is a direct-acting and highly acidic agent to acidify the aquarium water and reduce the pH value. It provides the aquarium with important and naturally occurring humus and tannins.
This product can also be used to descale pumps and other equipment.
