Advanced emergency overflow system

The Deltec i- and ix-series protein skimmers are equipped with a new emergency overflow system. This system prevents the collection cup from overflowing when the sump water level suddenly becomes too high or when the air inlet becomes blocked.

When the water level in the skimmer housing rises, the air supply to the pump is automatically shut off via the emergency overflow. This immediately stops foam formation and significantly reduces the risk of the cup overflowing, for example, if the return pump fails.

Easy adjustment

Innovative double base footplate design
