The living alternative to living rock

Until now, there was no alternative to live rock. Then came CaribSea's LifeRocks. Fossil aragonite rock with a bacterial coating, which shortens the running-in phase compared to live rock and creates a long-term, stable microclimate. And all this without ecological concerns, with a lower nutrient load and an incredible freedom of design. Stabilized by a few stones at the ends, you make the MegaArch the central bridge element in your marine aquarium. This creates elongated underwater worlds through which fish can swim and water can flow easily. The 91 cm long arch is especially suitable for very large swimming pools.

LifeRocks are coated with a reddish bacterial film. This gives them the appearance of living rock with a layer of calcareous red algae. What is much more important, however, is that LifeRocks become revitalized living rock due to the bacterial coating. The biofilm, which consists of permanent stages of different bacterial strains, enables transport and storage in a dry state. Aquascaping also offers completely new design possibilities: you can concentrate entirely on the structure without having to ensure that the stones do not dry out.

As soon as the LifeRocks enter the water, they come to life. This makes them more than just a visual eye-catcher for fascinating reefs - it is a reef that lives and filters and provides the optimal microclimate for invertebrates and fish.
